1 Group Adult Surf Lesson - Gold Coast
Our group surf lessons are a one off introduction to surfing where you will learn how to identify rips and sweeps and stay safe in the water, handle your board, paddle and negotiate the wave zone, select good waves and learn how to catch them and stand up using the easiest technique for your own level of agility. Our group lessons are kept to a maximum of 6 people per lesson. This allows the instructor to give you increased attention and training, helping you stay safe and learn to surf much quicker. If you find you enjoy the group lesson and want to get further advanced then you can purchase one of our lesson packages.
Adults that have a surf lesson with our surf school can learn to surf in one of the most ideal locations for beginners on the Gold Coast. You will only ever have a maximum of 6 people in your surf lesson and whenever possible we always try and separate the kids from the adults, so those loose limbed youngsters don’t make us feel like uncoordinated giraffes.
We hold our surf lessons at the Spit which is just a short 10 minute drive north of Surfers Paradise. The Spit is one of the few areas on the Gold Coast that has been saved from development and is the ideal location for beginners to learn how to surf. The Spit has a break wall which not only allows for the formation of good sand banks but also reduces the strength of the stronger sweeps that occur on the more exposed beaches along the Gold Coast. It really is the beginner surfer’s paradise!

Participant Guidelines
All you need to bring is:
* Towel
* Boardies or Swimsuit
* Foot wear, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and a bottle of water are a good idea. Especially on the warmer days.

Your surf lesson will be held at the Spit at the Northern end of the Gold Coast and will go ahead rain, hail or shine. Surfing lessons will be postponed when conditions are unsafe.
