The Great Ocean Road is world renowned for its dramatic seascapes and beautiful bushland. With cascading waterfalls, rainforest walks and ancient fern gullies on one side and magnificent surf beaches, high cliffs and incredible rugged coastal scenery and landscapes on the seaside.

Combine this with Tasmanias east coast one of Australia's truly spectacular coastal journeys and you will experience an extraordinary cycle tour like no other. Cycle along peninsulas with pristine white beaches, pass quaint colonial villages and challenge your perspective.

Daily Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Melbourne and transfer by van to Port Fairy
Day 2: Port Fairy to Port Campbell (95km)
Day 3: Port Campbell to Apollo Bay (90-120km)
Day 4: Apollo Bay to Torquay (85km)
Day 5: Torquay to Melbourne (60-120km)
Day 6: Free day in Melbourne then depart on Spirit of Tasmania ship
Day 7: Arrive Devonport and transfer to Launceston. Explore Launceston and Tamar Valley by bike and foot (optional)
Day 8: Cycle Launceston to St Helens with transfers (60-90km)
Day 9: St Helens to Bicheno (76km)
Day 10: Bicheno to Coles Bay (40km, hike to Wineglass Bay)
Day 11: Swansea to Hobart (60km cycling, and time at Port Arthur Historic Site)
Day 12: Hobart and surrounds including Mt Wellington Descent (70km)
Day 13: Depart Hobart

Booking Notes

Arrange to arrive in Melbourne. Meet at lunchtime today (airport pickups provided between 12pm and 3pm also city CBD hotel pick ups between 9am and 12pm – must be pre-arranged) and transfer by private van to Port Fairy. Travel via Colac and the Grampians Mountains, then arrive at your evening’s accommodation in Port Fairy. Airport pick up available between 12 – 3pm.
