4 Day Darwin Barramundi Fishing Safari - Barra Run Off
Its time to explore Australia's most abundant fishing grounds!
Depart Home state flights arranged by self (times TBA). Arrive Darwin and transfer to Darwin’s Barra Base B & B. Courtesy Bus pick up from airport free if arrive before 7.30pm, if after get a taxi to 2 Todd Cres Malak. First night accommodation at B&B is at normal room rates, unless this is a repeat fishing group booking, and then it is free, courtesy of Darwin Barra Base.
DAY 1:
Travel early to Mary River - Shady Camp and complete full day Barra fishing with Darwin’s Barra Base chasing the almighty Saltwater Barra. Approx 5.30pm park boat and move to Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge for swim, relaxation, evening meal & overnight accommodation.
DAY 2-3:
Up approx 5.30am early breaky and out early to get to the right spot to do that Barra fishing, or chasing and pulling up the freight train of the sea those metre-plus Black Jewfish, or pulling up 7-8Kg Golden Snappers. Most just smile their heads off whilst holding up 30lb, 40lb, or 50lb plus Big Slapper Barramundi’s. Depending on the tidal influence we normally return back to Boat Ramp approx 6 pm. Clean and prepare boat for next day, travel back to Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge. Down a couple of coldies at the bar, shower, rest up or go for a swim. Take in the evening meal, have a few drinks & sleep.
DAY 4:
Up approx 5.30am, pack up clothing pack bags and leave cabins, place luggage in storage. Early breakfast and out fishing, returning back to Boat Ramp approx 3pm clean &
refuel boat etc. Travel to Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge approx 4 pm. Pay accounts and return to Darwin’s Barra Base B&B. Unpack car, swim, rest drink and prepare for evening meal where
individual awards are issued.
DAY 4-5:
Fly out midnight of 5th Day or stay over for 6th Day at B&B and have day off (sleep in & relax) – own arrangements around Darwin, fly back to home state or stay at our B&B
and sight see our Northern Territory (flights arranged by self).

Rates Are:
For Twin Sole Charter per boat = $1,300pp per day x 4 days = $5,200pp
For Triple Share Sole Charter per boat = $880 per person per day x 4 days = $3,520pp
For Two or Three persons sharing with others to make a group of Four persons sharing Boat and Cabin accommodation at Remote Lodge/Motel = $700 per person per day x 4 days = $2,800pp. For a couple wishing to have their own double bedroom with ensuite please add $30per person per day.
Organised Group of Four Persons = $700 per person per day x 4 days = $2,800 per person. Total Package Deal 4 share to a boat = $11,200.
Value Bonus - Organised Group of 8 – 12 Persons share to Two or Three Boats in group share accommodation = $680 per person per day x 4 days = $2,720. Package Deal 8 share to two boats = $21,760. Package Deal 12 share to three boats = $32,640.
