Ballarat and Sovereign Hill with Wildlife Park Day Tour

The Gold museum houses one of Australia's most extensive and valuable collections of gold, and gold artifacts.

The journey through Victoria's Gold mining past begins in Ballarat, a city whose splendid gold rush architecture is proudly displayed in its Mining Exchange and Fine Art Gallery and also home of the original Eureka flag.

The wooden pavements take you to fully operating shops and restaurants with facades as authentic as the gold rush days in 1851. In 1854 one of the most significant events in Ballarat's history "The Eureka Rebellion", "The Blood on the Southern Cross" is now a sound and light show that gives visitors a dramatic representation of The Eureka Stockade Australia's only armed rebellion.
