These self-drive, self catering pontoons make cruising the Broadwater fun and relaxing. With an onboard gas BBQ provided, built in 50L esky and access to fishing rods, get ready for a day of good times and great memories.

Take in the beauty of the Broadwater with its clear blue waters, isolated islands and golden sandy beaches. See dolphins at play while pelicans and sea eagles soar overhead. It's an experience you won't forget.

There are two options for this BBQ Pontoon Hire for you to choose from. You can either hire it out for a full day which is 7.5 hours (from 9:00am til 4:00pm) or a half day for 4 hours (from 9:00am til 1:00pm or 12:00pm til 4:00pm). So you are free to enjoy the pontoon within the hours that you have booked for.

The vessel can accommodate up to 10 people. The price is the same, no matter how many participants, as you are hiring the entire boat for yourselves. So in effect, the more people that come along, the cheaper the cost per person will be. We advise that for optimal comfort that 8 people participating is the best.

Included In Price

We will provide you with a full tank of fuel, 50L esky and gas for the BBQ.

There is also an 'emergency' toilet on board, however we will provide you with details for instructions/maps to nearby land-based toilets also.

Participant Guidelines

No boat license required.

The pontoon is to be used only within the Gold Coast Broadwater and canals systems. No offshore travel is permitted.

Maps and instructions will be provided for you on the day of your departure.

Price Valid For

One Vessel, 10 people max - However 8 people is preferable and more comfortable.

Booking Notes

Please bring your driver's licence on the day and a bond of $300 will be required either by cash or credit card. Please note a surcharge of $100.00 applies to public holidays.

Full Day Hire - from 9:00am until 4:30pm

The day was an absolute joyous one..a great memory enjoyed the views, fishing, snorkelling, swimming and exploring all at our pace would definately repeat this experience. worth every cent.

The vessel was great. Unfortunately the weather was unkind and the whole event was rather costly (2 adults and 2 children)- not your fault-but perhaps you could consider some kind of "rain check" credit in these unforseen circumsstances given that of necessity it neede to be an advanced booking (3 of the crew from interstate).
