PWC (Jet Ski) Licence Courses: (You do not need a licence for our Jet Ski Hire & Drive Tours)
Caloundra Jet Ski is a Queensland Transport approved PWC Training Provider

Overview:
The PWC Licence course comprises two main areas.
- Theory component
- Practical component

The theory component is normally conducted first, comprising of a lesson presentation and short questionnaire. The Practical component then follows after a safety brief and demonstration. For the Practical component Caloundra Jet Ski provides the training craft (Yamaha VX1100 Waverunners) you will either ride by yourself or have the Instructor as pillion.

Upon satisfactory completion of the course, you will be issued with a Statement of Competency to be presented to Queensland Transport in return for your PWC Licence. You must hold a Recreational Marine Drivers Licence or its equivalent, (i.e. speed boat licence; interstate boating licence; Statement of Competency) prior to completing this course.

Highlights:
- The course is conducted everyday at 09:00, allowing you time to go to Qld Transport.
- In most cases, Caloundra Jet Ski is able to deliver the course in under 2 hours.

Participant Guidelines

What to bring:
- Appropriate clothing i.e. boardies, t-shirt, pullover in the cooler months, sunscreen.
- ID i.e. Drivers Licence
- There is no need to prepare for the course; however here you can access a copy of the PWC Licence Factsheet which forms the basis of our theory lesson.
