The personalised service starts from the moment your guide greets you at your accommodation in Hervey Bay. Then it’s a short barge journey across to Fraser Island, the world’s largest sand island, where your day of discovery really begins.

Upon arrival at Fraser Island the guide will take you inland in search of ancient rainforests and freshwater lakes. Experience the diversity of the flora and fauna as you move from bush scrub with Scribbly Gums and Eucalypts to rainforests filled with Satinays, ancient ferns and Hoop Pine.

Absorb the history of Central Station and enjoy a leisurely walk along the boardwalk beside Wanggoolba Creek, known as the invisible creek for its swift, silent and crystal clear waters. Morning tea is served on return from your walk with tea, coffee and decadent mud cake.

Visit Lake McKenzie with its dazzling white sands and clear blue waters. There’s plenty of time for a refreshing swim before moving on to the famous 75 mile beach. Watch the terrain change from inland tracks to expansive beach. Take in the sights as the Hummer travels across miles of sand with ease searching for the perfect setting for lunch. Relax while the guide sets up your lunch; enjoy the ultimate beach picnic and soak in the sea breeze!

Spend the rest of the afternoon on the beach where you’ll visit The Pinnacles – impressive formations in the coloured sands. Stop at the Maheno Shipwreck and listen as your guide tells you all about this grand ship’s colourful history and fate. There’s one last stop for a swim at Eli Creek, the largest freshwater creek on the Eastern beach and the perfect spot to cool down. Finish your day in style with champagne, strawberries and chocolates on the beach or in the rainforest.

Simply superb!!! Fritz was our hummer tour driver and made our experience very very special, what a nice bloke and very funny. The whole day was organised so well from the start to the end. The experience was one of the best things we have done. 100% worth spending the extra money for the individual service. We are both young and were paired with another young couple from London England and we got on like a house on fire and will try our best to keep in touch with them. Champagne finish with chocs was the icing on the cake, we should have had strawberry's to go with it but we spilled them up at stunning lake mckenzie when rushing to get back to the ferry.
