Feel the rush of jumping out of a plane and reaching speeds of up to 220km/h by tandem sky diving over the City of Melbourne-an experience you will never forget!

We begin the day with a briefing with your tandem sky diving instructor. This includes what to expect and what you will see on the plane flight to height, in freefall, under canopy and upon landing. The briefing takes approximately 15 minutes.Once the briefing is over, it will be time to gear up in preparation for your sky diving experience. You will be given a jumpsuit and your instructor will fit you into a harness. You will walk out to the plane and there you will conduct your practice exits. Once all the ground preparation has been completed, it is time to get in the plane and get ready for take-off!

As we leave the airfield, you will be treated to a scenic tour of the City of Melbourne where your instructor will point out all of Melbourne’s most famous sites. You can expect to jump from a height of 10,000ft.

Once we reach height, it will be time to prepare yourself for the jump. The door opens and as you leave the plane, you and your tandem master will accelerate through the air reaching terminal velocity - 220km/h. Freefall feels like riding a cushion of air, it is the closest possible feeling to flying-there is nothing on earth like it! In freefall, your will be able to take in stunning views as far as the eye can see. After about 35-40 seconds of freefall your instructor will deploy the parachute.

The parachute ride is very different to your freefall, extremely peaceful as you sail around the sky, gliding. The landing is easy, just lift your legs. The parachute will glide and you will eventually put your feet down to land. You will land into Royal Park right near the Melbourne Zoo. This is a premium jump, an experience that will never be forgotten.

Participant Guidelines

Please note that there is a $25 charge on the day which is paid directly to the supplier for the Australian Parachute Federation membership and insurance Fee

Please note a minimum of 2 people are required to operate this jump.

Available 7 days a week, bookings are essential.

Min age is 14, if under 18 you will require parents permission. You need a basic level of fitness and there is a weight limit of 100Kg.

Alcohol must not be consumed prior to your skydive.

If the weather is unsuitable for skydiving on your scheduled day, you will be re-booked for another day.

Numbers on the day

We can take up to 60 people on any one day. There may be up to 10 people attending the safety briefing at one time.

Weather Exceptions

Skydiving is weather dependent. You are required to call the drop zone before you leave home on the day of the jump to check the conditions. If the weather is unsuitable then we will reschedule you for another date. We have a 100% safety record and at no stage will we compromise the safety of our customers or staff
