Perth Attractions, Tours, Activities and Experiences
Perth is often referred to as the Gem of the West Coast and is the capital of the state of Western Australia. The city was rapidly built on the backbone of the mining boom in the early 19th century and still to this day the region is where a large portion of Australia's resources are found. It is located along the peaceful waters of the Swan River, which lead to the Indian Ocean further west. Here the magnificent Rottnest Island can be found, a popular local weekend getaway.
