During the Summer months on hot evenings the sun goes down at 10:00pm, these warm summer evenings are perfect for a quiet sunset paddle.
From Queenstown we will take you to the small village of Glenorchy. From here we paddle the quiet waters at the head of Lake Wakatipu over to Kinloch lodge. Delicious meals prepared by the local chef are soon served with an extensive local wine and beer list.
Look out over the lake with the shadows building in the mountains while you enjoy your meal.
Once back in the kayaks it's time to enjoy your return paddle, when the world goes still and everything holds its breath, as the last of the sunlight dances on the snowy mountain tops. The Southwest New Zealand World Heritage Area on your left and the mysterious Lake Wakatipu on your right guides us as we arrive back at Glenorchy before dark.
We then transport you back to Queenstown for the nightlife or a good night sleep.
